Armenian news agency Armenpress reported today, Friday, that officials in the separatist region of Nagorno-Karabakh stated that "the death toll from an explosion followed by a fire at a fuel depot in the area has risen to 170." This marks a significant increase in the number of casualties compared to what authorities in Karabakh announced on Tuesday, when they reported 68 fatalities. Rescue operations are still ongoing at the explosion site. As of Friday morning, the number of Armenians who have crossed from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia has exceeded 84,700 out of a total of 120,000.
