Judicial Development in the Beirut Port Explosion Case

The State Consultative Council, presided over by Judge Fadi Elias, annulled the decision made by Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi in the caretaker government, which had refused to notify politicians about the interrogation sessions in the Beirut Port explosion case. As a result, the judicial police are now obligated to notify the requests issued by Judge Tarek Bitar.
