23 Students Hit by Car in Front of School in Egypt

Two students at an Egyptian elementary school were killed and 21 others were injured today, Wednesday, when a speeding car ran over them while they were standing in front of their school in the city of "6th of October" in Giza Governorate. The Giza General Investigations Department stated in a report that it received a notification of the accident, prompting ambulances and rescue teams to rush to the scene. It was found that while the students were exiting the school and standing in front of it, a speeding microbus hit them, resulting in the death of two students and injuries to 21 others. The bodies were transferred to the morgue, and the injured were taken to Sheikh Zayed Hospital and October General Hospital, while the public prosecution has initiated an investigation.
