Egyptian sources revealed that the first body of the three missing British tourists has been found following the fire incident on the Red Sea boat. According to the sources, the body was completely charred and discovered inside the boat after specialized crews were able to enter, examine the wreckage, and inspect its contents, as reported by "Al Arabiya.net."
Authorities are now transferring the body to the morgue, placing it at the disposal of judicial authorities for potential DNA analysis to determine its identity, while continuing to search for the other two bodies inside the boat.
The sources indicated that the two bodies, belonging to a man and a woman, were known to not be early risers, suggesting they were sleeping at the time of the incident and the fire broke out since they did not participate in the diving trip. Additionally, it was noted that their rooms were located near the fuel tank, implying they did not exit their rooms when the fire ignited, and they may have died from asphyxiation or burning.
