Arab League: Highlighting the Future of Jerusalem

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League for Media and Communication, Ambassador Ahmed Khattabi, called on official and private Arab media to highlight the future of Jerusalem and the conditions of Palestinians in the face of Israeli practices. Khattabi, in a speech during the international seminar held in Rabat, titled "The Role of Media in Supporting the Civilizational Identity of Al-Quds Al-Sharif," stated that "the holy city needs all forms of support today, including joint Arab media efforts and raising international public awareness of its uniqueness and the invalidity of Israeli measures aimed at erasing its original identity." He said, "The issue of Jerusalem tops the agenda of Arab media work, as it is a fundamental axis in the Arab media strategy and a key component of the Arab media mobilization plan. It was chosen as the first capital of Arab media in 2016."
