Saudi Embassy Officially Begins Activities in Tehran After 3 Days

The Iranian official news agency "IRNA" reported, citing an informed source, that "the Saudi embassy in Tehran officially began its activities 3 days ago." It noted that "this comes after the discussions that took place in February 2023, with the presence of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, hosted by China, and the three-party statement (between Tehran, Beijing, and Riyadh) that followed on March 10, 2023, regarding the resumption of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia." The agency clarified that "the Iranian embassy and consulate general in Riyadh officially began their activities on June 6, 2023."
