Israeli forces killed two Palestinian young men today, Saturday, and injured three others, following their raid into the Balata refugee camp east of Nablus, where they besieged a house.
The Ministry of Health reported the deaths of Sayeed Jihad Shaker Masha (32 years old) and Adnan Waseem Yusuf Al-Araj (19 years old), who succumbed to wounds inflicted by live ammunition in the head during the raid. Additionally, there are three stable injuries in the neck, abdomen, and thigh.
Ahmad Jibril, the director of ambulance services at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus, explained that Israeli forces prevented ambulances from entering the camp to assist the injured and targeted them directly.
He added that dozens of citizens suffered from suffocation due to inhaling tear gas during clashes, and they were treated on-site.
The Palestinian news agency (Wafa) reported that special forces, referred to as "mustarabins," along with Israeli forces, besieged a house in the "Jamaasin" neighborhood in the camp. Multiple snipers took positions on rooftops, leading to clashes characterized by heavy gunfire and the use of tear gas.
It was noted that Israeli soldiers closed off the entrances to the camp and demanded through loudspeakers that a citizen inside the besieged house surrender, warning that they would demolish the house if he did not comply.
