The Union of Employees and Staff of the Mobile Telecommunications Sector has given the administrations of "Alpha" and "Touch" until today, Thursday morning, to provide a clear response to its demands for the restoration of the actual salary values, or "it will be forced to announce a work stoppage starting at twelve noon."
In a message sent late last night to the employees, the union stated: "After a series of meetings and consultations held between the union, the administrations of 'Alpha' and 'Touch', and the Ministry of Telecommunications, it became evident that the approach was ambiguous, and there was a lack of coordination from the administrations of the two companies, while the ministry wanted a clear vision, supported by figures, to be approved regarding the restoration of the actual salary of an employee who has been suffering from a decrease in his salary month after month, which has led to a waste of time, a failure to grant rights, and the need to correct the salary discrepancies."
