Iraq: "State Administration" Coalition Reaffirms Readiness to Dialogue with Sadr Movement

The "State Administration" Coalition held an important meeting regarding the developments in the political situation in Iraq. The meeting, which took place at the office of the leader of the Hikma Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed the evolution of the Iraqi political arena, the continued work of the House of Representatives, and the formation of the government. The coalition reaffirmed its readiness to "open serious dialogue with the Sadr Movement to reach an understanding on managing the upcoming phase." The coalition also urged the leadership of the two Kurdish parties to finalize the presidential candidate or the selection mechanism and establish a timeline for resolving it.
