The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Israeli forces killed one person in the city of Nablus in the West Bank before dawn on Thursday. Palestinians claimed they were confronting Israeli soldiers and settlers in the area. The Palestinian Red Crescent mentioned that at least four people were injured by gunfire, including two in serious condition, during what they described as clashes with Israeli forces in the eastern part of Nablus. The Nablus Brigade of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, stated that its members were resisting Israeli forces during their incursion into the eastern area and around Joseph's Tomb. The Joseph's Tomb area has witnessed repeated clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces. Additionally, Palestinians blew up an explosive device attached to an Israeli military bulldozer. Violence in the West Bank has escalated in recent months.
