Airport Navigation Crisis... What Did Hamieh Request from Mikati?

Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Ali Hamieh, expressed after his meeting with Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the Grand Serail, his hope that the agenda for the next Cabinet session will include the item concerning air navigation interests and the appointment of individuals who succeeded in the Civil Service Council exams, stating: "This way, we would have provided the necessary competencies for the airport and air navigation interests." He announced that he is in the process of conducting training sessions, through the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), for new employees or current employees who have not previously undergone training courses. He also mentioned that he updated Mikati on the projects we are about to implement to clean the rainwater channels according to the Cabinet's decisions, and that an agenda item concerning road maintenance should be included in the next session.
