Theo Walcott, former England and Arsenal forward, announced today, Friday, his retirement from football at the age of 34. Walcott wrote on his official account on the "X" platform, saying: "From playing in the park with friends to performing in some of the biggest stadiums in front of huge crowds around the world. The support I have received throughout this time has been amazing in every way imaginable, and I am truly grateful." He added: "I have shared the pitch with many great players, and we have created so many unforgettable memories. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all the coaches I have worked with for showing trust and support when I moved to Arsenal at just 16 years old." Thank you. Once a Gunner, always a Gunner.
