The director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in Gaza, Thomas White, revealed that one of the agency's schools in the Palestinian territory is experiencing an outbreak of Hepatitis A. In an interview with BBC, White stated, "At one of our schools, we've now had an outbreak of Hepatitis A." He added, "The risk of infectious diseases is indeed present in Gaza, because the UNRWA schools, which are meant to shelter 1,500 people, currently house more than 6,000 individuals in the south."
