Twitter Announces New Video Features

Twitter's Chief Designer, Andrea Conway, announced on Friday the arrival of a set of new features related to video viewing on the platform. According to the image shared by Conway on Twitter, the video player interface will be updated to include more options, organized into a single list for easier access.

The list includes options such as displaying captions or subtitles for the video, controlling playback speed (fast or slow), sharing videos through other applications, and reporting inappropriate videos, according to the Arabic Technical News Portal.

Additionally, there is a download option, which will allow users to save videos directly to their device's storage without the need for other apps or services to download videos from Twitter.

Conway revealed that users will have the option to control video quality and a "picture-in-picture" feature when playing videos on Twitter, which allows them to display the video in a floating mini window while continuing to scroll, instead of the full screen. This feature was also previously confirmed by Twitter's owner, Elon Musk.
