India Defeats Lebanon (76-69)
India defeated Lebanon (76-69) on the second day of the Asia U16 Basketball Championship taking place in Doha, Qatar. Lebanon will play its third match in the tournament against Australia at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, September 19, Beirut time. This is Lebanon's first loss after winning against Sri Lanka (99-45) on Sunday. The Asia U16 Basketball Championship qualifies for the World Championship (U16), which will be hosted by Turkey from June 29 to July 7 of next year. Four Asian-Oceanian teams advancing to the semifinals of the Asia Championship will qualify for the World Championship. It is noted that Lebanon's group includes Sri Lanka, India, and Australia.
