Patriarch Raï wished that all politicians would rise above their personal interests and narrow calculations to be able to see reality. He stated, "As long as they are mired in the muck of personal interests, Lebanon will flounder from day to day." He added, "Saints and blessed individuals, chief among them the venerable Estephan Douaihy, call us to elevate our thoughts and actions."
He also thanked the "Lebanon Association for Message and Heritage" and the American University of Technology for their cooperation in reviving a gathering that brought together many personalities, expressing gratitude to all who spoke. He requested, "Let us live under the light of knowing God's culture and humility," affirming that there is no fear for Lebanon as long as we have saints shining like the sun, including the venerable patriarch.
