Putin and Kim Discuss Sending a North Korean Astronaut to Space

Russian news agency reported, citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, that "Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un discussed the possibility of sending a North Korean astronaut into space today, Wednesday." In a statement following the conclusion of the talks between Putin and Kim at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the far east of Russia, Peskov also mentioned that "the foreign ministers of the two countries will meet next month in North Korea," adding that "there are no plans for Putin to visit Pyongyang."
