Prostitution Networks in the Hands of State Security

The regional directorate in Nabatiyeh has arrested Syrians M.H., A.A., and R.H. on charges of "facilitating prostitution and engaging in illegal group sexual relations, as well as spousal swapping in the same room in the city of Nabatiyeh." During the investigation, which was conducted under judicial supervision, it was revealed that they "are engaged in promoting prostitution through dozens of couples who marry girls involved in clandestine prostitution, allowing them to move under the pretense of being married and presenting the marriage contract to security and military forces when caught in the act of prostitution." A source in State Security confirmed that "these cases are encountered daily and have intensified due to Syrian displacement and the economic crisis."
