World Health Organization Demands Israel Retract Hospital Evacuation Orders in Gaza

The World Health Organization has called on Israel to retract its orders to evacuate hospitals in northern Gaza, warning about the dangers of transferring many patients, especially those on ventilators. WHO spokesperson Tarik Jasarevic stated in a press release, "There are patients in hospitals who cannot be easily moved, there are ventilators and infants in incubators, and individuals in unstable conditions; it is extremely difficult to transfer them." He emphasized the need for the Israeli entity to reconsider these demands. Despite hospitals being protected under international humanitarian law, 20 hospitals in northern Gaza have received evacuation orders from the Israeli army.
