The Dakahlia Governorate in Egypt has taken decisive measures following the injury of 9 individuals, including children, at an amusement park in the city of Gamasa, due to the collapse of one of the rides. The Dakahlia Security Directorate received a report of panic in the amusement area designated for vacationers in Gamasa after the incident, which resulted in injuries with wounds and fractures among those affected, ranging in age from 14 to 34 years. Police forces and ambulances were quickly dispatched to the scene.
In response to the Gamasa amusement park incident, Ayman Makhtar, the Governor of Dakahlia, directed city leaders to review the licenses of amusement parks in each city and conduct a thorough inspection of all rides by a specialized team, confiscating any rides with mechanical faults or defects to ensure the safety of children.
Aymaan Ezzat, the head of the city of Gamasa, confirmed that electricity had been cut off in all areas of the amusement park.
