Video - Moment of Crane Collapse at Construction Site in Iraq

The collapse of a tower under construction today, Sunday, in the city of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, resulted in the death of three workers and injured another. The labor union confirmed that the lack of safety measures in workplaces is the cause of the casualties. The supervising engineer of the project, Heidi Bilal, stated during a press conference at the accident site that "the incident occurred this afternoon when a tower fell while carrying (4) workers, three of whom died and one was injured." Regarding the nationality of the deceased, he clarified: "They are Iraqis, aged between 35 and 40 years."
