Prince Harry arrived at the High Court in London today, Tuesday, to testify in a lawsuit against a company that publishes a tabloid newspaper, accused of hacking his phone and engaging in other illegal activities. The youngest son of King Charles will face hours of questioning on the witness stand from MGN lawyer Andrew Green regarding 33 articles he claims were based on information obtained illegally. Harry, fifth in line to the throne, did not appear in court yesterday as expected. He is suing Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN), which publishes the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror, and Sunday People, along with more than 100 others, over allegations of widespread misconduct between 1991 and 2011. The case against MGN began last month, with Harry and the other plaintiffs seeking to prove that the illegal information gathering was conducted with the knowledge and consent of senior editors and executives. This marks the first time in 130 years that a prominent member of the royal family has testified.
