Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune began a state visit to the Chinese capital Beijing today, Monday, which is scheduled to last for two days, at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. A statement issued by the Algerian presidency indicated that "Tebboune arrived on the presidential plane in Beijing coming from Qatar, where he was also on an official visit." Tebboune's office noted last Thursday that "the visit to China will focus on strengthening the already existing close and deep relations, and enhancing economic cooperation between the Algerian and Chinese peoples."
