After information circulated that the Parliament received an envelope from the French embassy in Beirut containing invitations for MPs to respond to questions regarding their positions on the presidential election before the end of September, special sources confirmed to "Wardna" that the Parliament received a "large envelope" for the MPs, and that its content was not distributed to the MPs since today is an official holiday. In the same context, a deputy from the "Strong Lebanon" bloc and another from the "Lebanese Forces" bloc told our site that they have no information on the subject and confirmed that they have not received individual messages as MPs, but perhaps the correspondence arrived at the parliamentary council. A deputy in the "Lebanese Forces" bloc mentioned to "Wardna" that "the opposition will take a position between today and tomorrow to respond to the questions posed by the French presidential envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian" regarding the specifications and tasks, and that "the intention is to adopt the final statement from the five-party committee that outlined the specifications and tasks that align with our sovereign aspirations and previous positions," according to the same source.
