Switzerland: Thousands Protest for Effective Climate Protection

According to "France Presse," thousands of people protested today in the streets of the Swiss capital Bern, demanding effective climate protection and greater "climate justice," in an action organized less than a month before parliamentary elections. The organizers of the demonstration, part of the "Swiss Climate Alliance," indicated that "anger over inaction on climate policy and the devastating and deadly consequences of the climate crisis mobilized groups of all ages and backgrounds." The protesters called for an end to environmental destruction and respect for the climate goals of the Paris Agreement. Signs were displayed with slogans such as "No Planet, No Health, Climate Justice Now, and Stop the Madness."
