Public Works Minister in the caretaker government, Ali Hamie, stated that the ongoing dumping of waste and debris in Dbayeh may lead to a repeat of the flooding scene on the highway due to the blockage of the drainage channel. He shared a photo on "X" of a vehicle stationed beside the Farfoury canal in Dbayeh throughout the night, working to remove the waste, debris, and sand that the channel's flow continues to carry with it from the higher regions. He emphasized that the continuation of this issue—despite repeated calls for action—could result in flooding on the highway due to the obstruction of its drainage channel.
