Tony Frangieh: We Will Present an Institutional Model Built on Accountability and Reward

Deputy Tony Frangieh observed that the circumstances the country is facing have become very delicate, placing a significant burden on the shoulders of the citizens. The recent incidents of theft and pickpocketing in various villages and regions in Lebanon are merely indicative of the deep crisis we are undergoing. Unfortunately, the increasing cases of suicide also reflect the loss of hope among the Lebanese people. He added, "Thus, in light of this painful scene and moving away from instinctive slogans and the many promises citizens have heard since before the parliamentary elections, we must reiterate our rational and realistic discourse, pointing out that the crisis in Lebanon is primarily political before anything else. The entry to a solution begins with electing a new president capable of initiating dialogue and interaction among the Lebanese as the only way to emerge from the tunnel of crisis and its difficulties."

During his attendance at the general meeting of the Engineers Office in the Marada Movement, Frangieh mentioned that "the institutional work being carried out by the office through the election of its administrative committee reflects on various aspects of work within Marada. Through this institutional work, we will present an advanced model based on the concepts of accountability and reward, which will promote positive competition leading to more construction and prosperity."

The general assembly of the "Engineers Office in Marada" held a meeting at the "Marada Foundation" in Bneshii during which it elected an administrative committee that includes the political, technical-social, and scientific committees, as well as representatives from various northern districts. The administrative committee is composed of engineers: Maryanne Bou Haron, Simon Makkari, Samer Frangieh, George Frangieh, Assaf Yamin, Antoine Frangieh, Fadi Al-Qasahna, Michel Frangieh, Hamid Al-Shadraoui, Eli Al-Shadraoui, Janna Hanna, Amin Al-Ayoubi, George Bou Nasif, and Badawi Frangieh.
