Moroccan MP from the Authenticity and Modernity Party, Hanan Atrakine, has called on the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water, and Forests to withdraw a biscuit contaminated with a dangerous drug. Atrakine stated in a written question addressed to the relevant minister that many Moroccan markets still display "biscuits" that have been confirmed to contain a dangerous drug (burundanga) by the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition. The Spanish health authorities, she added, have withdrawn the biscuits from their markets and warned all European countries against continuing to market them due to their danger to human health, advising citizens who have the same biscuits at home to dispose of them and not to consume them.
