Germany Calls on Israel to Alleviate Palestinian Suffering

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated on Monday that Germany expects Israel to adjust its military strategy to better halt the suffering of Palestinian civilians, adding that many of them have already become victims of the conflict. The minister said at a press conference in Dubai on the sidelines of the UN Climate Summit: "We expect Israel to allow more humanitarian aid, especially in the north, and for its military actions to be more targeted to cause fewer civilian casualties." She added, "How Israel conducts this battle is crucial for the perspective of a political solution."
