The Tobacco and Tombak Regie Administration announced in a statement that, "As part of its ongoing efforts to put an end to smuggling, a unit from the anti-smuggling department raided a warehouse in the Majdal Anjar area and seized large quantities of smuggled tobacco products. A report has been drafted regarding the violators and will be reviewed by the competent judiciary."
