Wagner Leaves Rostov and Russia Lifts Road Restrictions

A video published by the Russian media agency on Telegram shows Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin leaving the military headquarters in Rostov in a sports car. The governor of Rostov confirmed that Wagner fighters have left the city and are returning to their field camps. In related news, TASS news agency reported, citing the federal roads agency, that all restrictions previously imposed on highways in Russia have been lifted. Additionally, the official Grozny channel stated that three thousand elite Chechen forces have taken positions in Moscow to defend the Russian capital against the Wagner military group that was advancing toward the city. The channel reported on Telegram that the fighters had taken their positions in Moscow since early Saturday morning, adding, "We are ready to carry out any order from the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces, Vladimir Putin."
