The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, announced on the social media platform "X" today, Monday, that 12 of the premature babies rescued from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza were airlifted to Cairo. Earlier today, paramedics had transported 28 premature babies across the Gaza-Egypt border after rescuing them from the hospital located in the northern part of the region, which is under heavy Israeli bombardment.
