U.S. officials reported today, Thursday, that two U.S. Navy sailors have been arrested on charges related to national security and connections with China, according to the Associated Press. The report states that a 22-year-old sailor stationed on a ship in San Diego was arrested yesterday, Wednesday, on espionage charges involving conspiracy to send national defense information to Chinese officials. Additionally, another sailor was arrested at a naval base in Ventura County, north of Los Angeles, and has been charged with conspiracy and receiving bribes from a Chinese official.
