The Kremlin announced today, Monday, that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone call with his Senegalese counterpart Macky Sall discussing trade relations and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Kremlin added that the conversation was based on their communications during a Russian-African summit held this year, where they exchanged views on "the sharp escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the difficult humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip."
