The Turkish Disaster Management Authority reported today, Monday, that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale occurred in Malatya province in eastern Turkey. The authority stated in a statement: "Tremors were recorded at 10:36 (local time) in the Buyutiyorgi area." The statement added: "The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 7 kilometers."
