A car flew into the air and came to rest in a bedroom on the second floor of a house in Pennsylvania, creating a scene reminiscent of action films. Officials from Junction Fire responded to the incident on Sunday, which occurred in Decatur Township. Upon arrival, they found a Toyota Corolla lodged in the roof of the house. Emergency crews stabilized the building to prevent further collapse while the car was being removed, and they assisted the owners in placing a tarp over the hole left by the incident in preparation for incoming storms. Local ABC affiliate WHTM reported that the driver was taken to the hospital, but no one inside the house was harmed. The fire company stated that the car likely struck something next to the house that caused it to fly into the air and land on the roof. Pennsylvania State Police believe the incident was intentional, as investigators have determined through their inquiries that the incident was deliberate, and charges are pending at this time.
