The National Football League (NFL), along with Apple Music and Roc Nation, announced today that R&B star Usher will be the musical performer during the halftime show of the Super Bowl, scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 11, 2024. Usher stated in a press release, "It is a tremendous honor to finally be a part of a Super Bowl halftime show... I can’t wait to deliver a performance that is completely different from anything they’ve seen from me before." Since releasing his first album in 1994, Usher, who has won eight Grammy Awards, has sold over 80 million records worldwide. Billboard magazine ranked him as the second most successful artist of the 2000s.
