Murder over a "Colombian" Pistol: Suspect Arrested in Baghdad

The Criminal Investigation Directorate in Baghdad reported on Wednesday the arrest of a person who killed his friend over a dispute regarding a pistol in the northeastern part of the capital. According to the directorate's statement, its units at the Al-Zuhur Anti-Crime Office managed to apprehend a suspect for killing his friend following an argument over a "Colombian" pistol in the Al-Husseiniya area, northeast of Baghdad. The statement noted that his initial confession was recorded and later validated in court, with the investigating judge deciding to detain him under the provisions of Article 405 of the Penal Code to receive his due punishment.
