Kais Saied: Don't You Know That

The statements made by Tunisian President Kais Saied regarding the naming of the storm "Daniel," which struck areas of eastern Libya and resulted in thousands of deaths, have raised eyebrows among observers. The Tunisian president believes that the choice of "Daniel" for the storm reflects the influence of the "global Zionist movement," as stated in a video clip published by the Tunisian presidency on Tuesday. During a meeting on Monday with Prime Minister Ahmed Hashani and government members, Saied questioned, "Regarding Hurricane Daniel, didn't they wonder or bother to question the name Daniel?" He continued, "They chose Daniel. Who is Daniel? He is a Hebrew prophet... because the Zionist movement has infiltrated and has almost struck the mind and thinking to the point of putting them in a complete intellectual coma." On social media, some have considered his remarks "anti-Semitic."
