Seizure Reports Against Two Butcher Shops in Nabatiyeh

The inspectors from the Ministry of Economy and Trade - Consumer Protection Department in Nabatiyeh conducted a surprise inspection of fresh meat shops, accompanied by the head of the department, Mohammad Baytar, and supported by state security elements from the regional directorate in the governorate. The inspection covered the towns of Jba'a, Ain Qana, and Kfarfila in the Iqlim al-Tuffah. They issued seizure reports against the owners of two butcher shops for violating regulations by selling refrigerated meats without proper declaration and exceeding the allowed profit margins. Written warnings were also issued to some for the necessity of complying with the laws set forth by the relevant ministries, under the threat of further seizure reports.
