Death of 4 Soldiers in Landmine Explosion in Southern Senegal

The Senegalese army announced in a social media post today, Friday, that "four soldiers were killed and three were injured when their vehicle hit a landmine in the south of the country." The incident occurred yesterday, Thursday, in northern Benin, in the Kazamance region of Senegal, which is home to a largely dormant separatist movement that began in the 1980s.
