Funeral Prayer for Saeed bin Zayed by UAE President and Sheikhs

Today, Thursday, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, performed the funeral prayer for the body of his brother, Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler of Abu Dhabi, at Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed I Mosque in Abu Dhabi. The prayer was also attended by the sheikhs of the Al Nahyan family. The attendees prayed to "the Almighty to encompass the deceased with His vast mercy, forgiveness, and pleasure, to grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and to honor his resting place in recognition of his contributions during a life dedicated to serving his people and homeland." They also asked "the Almighty to inspire everyone with patience and solace in this grief." The President of the UAE and the Al Nahyan sheikhs accompanied Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to his final resting place at Al Bateen Cemetery in Abu Dhabi.
