Abdollahian and Bin Farhan Emphasized the Acceleration of Joint Cooperation

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan, in a phone call, emphasized "the necessity of accelerating joint cooperation in various fields, including economic, trade, investment, and tourism cooperation." The Iranian news agency "IRNA" reported that "both sides agreed on the need to take the necessary steps in this direction in accordance with the proper course of political relations between the two countries." The two ministers agreed to advise the sports institutions in both countries to resolve the recent issue that arose during a match between clubs from the two nations (Sepahan Isfahan and Al-Ittihad) in the AFC Champions League. Bin Farhan invited his Iranian counterpart to "attend the next football match between the two countries in Saudi Arabia."
