The President of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), Sultan Al Jaber, indicated today, Monday, that "he highly respects the science related to climate change, and that his presidency of the conference has focused on it." In a press conference, Al Jaber stated: "We believe in science and respect it very much." He added: "I am very surprised by the ongoing and repeated attempts to undermine my role in chairing the COP conference (COP28)."
