Al-Zour Refinery in Kuwait Offers More Low-Sulfur Fuel Oil for Loading

Trade sources revealed to Reuters today, Tuesday, that the Al-Zour refinery in Kuwait has announced a new tender for low-sulfur fuel oil for loading in early June, following the closure of two previous tenders just days prior. The same sources noted that the refinery is offering a quantity ranging between 120,000 and 150,000 tons of low-sulfur fuel oil for loading between June 8 and June 9, in a tender that will close on May 23. The refinery closed its latest tender for low-sulfur fuel oil on May 19, when it sold a shipment of a similar quantity for loading between June 3 and June 4. The refinery has been working to boost its sales again since resuming its refining units after a partial shutdown in April.
