Over 100,000 Afghans Returned Voluntarily to Afghanistan via Torkham Crossing

A Pakistani government official reported on Wednesday that more than 100,000 unregistered Afghan citizens have returned voluntarily to Afghanistan through the Torkham border crossing in the northwest of the country over the past two weeks. Deputy Commissioner Abdul Nasir Khan stated that Afghan citizens have headed to the border crossing from various parts of Pakistan. The deadline set by Pakistan to deport all illegal migrants, including hundreds of thousands of Afghans, ends later on Wednesday.
