Iraqi President: The Government is Serious About Treating the Victims of the Hamdaniya Tragedy

Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid arrived today, Friday, in the district of Hamdaniya in Nineveh. A statement from the Iraqi presidency stated that "Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid expressed his condolences at the Mar Behnam and Sara Cathedral to the families of the victims of the tragic incident in Hamdaniya," emphasizing "the care for the families of the victims and missing persons, and providing the best treatment for those injured in this tragedy." He confirmed that "the Iraqi government has been taking all necessary measures since the moment of the tragedy, and this is our collective duty. The government is serious about treating the wounded and supporting the families of the martyrs and the missing." He added, "We must address the causes of this tragedy to prevent its recurrence in the future. Security and stability are priorities for all Iraqi people, across all their spectrums, components, and religions."
