A fire broke out today, Saturday, at a shopping center in Karachi, southern Pakistan, resulting in the deaths of at least nine people. The fire ignited early this morning at the RJ multi-story shopping center in Pakistan’s largest city by population. It was added that the fire department rescued about 50 people, but there are still more inside the building. Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui confirmed that "at least nine bodies were transported to local hospitals after the fire, and the search operation is ongoing."
