A Kuwaiti woman has taken on the responsibility of caring for Syrian child Ibrahim, who miraculously survived the devastating earthquake that struck northern Syria. His image alone in a hospital garnered widespread sympathy, prompting many, including celebrities, to express their desire to adopt and care for him.
The "Ilham Volunteer" team, which has been documenting the child's condition from the beginning, announced that a Kuwaiti woman has committed to caring for Ibrahim for life. She purchased a house for him and his father, as well as a car for his father so he could work. The team shared on their Twitter account posts that narrate the child's story from the moment a team member spotted him in the Afrin hospital, offered him bananas and juice, and documented it in a widely circulated video.
