The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, affirmed that "the Forces are currently engaged, alongside their allies, in a battle to reclaim the republic from its hijackers by preventing the resistance axis from controlling the presidency. Should this happen, it will lead to the continued deterioration of economic and financial conditions, exacerbating the suffering of the Lebanese people." During his reception of a delegation from the Lebanese Forces in the Aley area, he emphasized that the Forces "are increasingly becoming crucial as a stabilizing factor for society," noting that "sovereign and free Lebanese people are counting on us to rescue what remains and restore Lebanon to its former glory and status." Geagea added: "We are fully aware that we face a long path ahead in liberating Lebanese decision-making from its hijackers and returning it to official institutions. However, we are determined to complete this journey without fatigue or hesitation until we achieve for the Lebanese people the free and dignified life they aspire to in a sovereign and prosperous homeland, governed by the rule of law."
